How can I avoid drought stress on my lawn?

We recommend that your lawn gets 2" - 3" of water per week. You will usually need, at least, 20 minutes per zone per day. This will ensure continued growth and a healthy lawn. Aeration and power raking are also very helpful in avoiding a lawn that is stressed because they remove excess thatch and add aeration holes which allow more water to reach your grass roots.

Is there a fee for cancelling my mowing or other service?

If you contact us 24 hours before your scheduled service, there is no cancellation fee. However, because we have already locked in the route for our crew (and possibly already sent them out to your house) we need to charge full price for the service if given less than 24 hours notice.

Why do you mulch instead of bag grass clippings?

Whenever possible, we like to leave the grass clipping on the lawn. This is because they are vital to the growing cycle and return nutrients and organic matter to the soil. The only time we recommend bagging the clippings is when the lawn has gotten too tall between mowings to remove the clumps. This is another reason we do not offer bi-weekly mowings until the lawn has started to slow in the summer months.

Is there a deadline for signing up for your mowing service?
